His Eminence Gangteng Tulku Rinpoche is first and foremost a Dzogchen teacher. Dzogchen is the highest practice of the Buddha-dharma and is the dynamic, living essence of primordial awareness-emptiness. The meeting with an authentic Dzogchen master, and receiving his living transmission however he imparts it is a blessing beyond measure.

Buddha at the Four Times
This teaching is a supplementary part of Pema Lingpa’s Kunzang Gongdu. It concisely presents how to practice the various elements of Dzogchen through the different cycles of day and night.
Two sessions both days: 9am-12pm & 2-5pm

Mipham’s ” A Lamp Dispelling the Darkness”
Gangteng Rinpoche will give the oral transmission blessing and commentary on this pithy text by the great 19th-20th Dzogchen master Ju Mipham Rinpoche. It provides profound trekchod (“cutting through”) practice instructions pointing out the essence of mind. These clear, uncomplicated instructions make it possible for ordinary individuals who live and work in the mundane world to practice and realize the nature of mind in one lifetime.
Two sessions both days: 9am-12pm & 2-5pm

Vajrapani Empowerment
Vajrapani is one of the earliest bodhisattvas and protectors mentioned in Buddhism. He is the embodiment of spiritual power, energy and fearlessness of the enlightened mind. Meditating on Varapani helps one to manifest one’s pure intentions in the world with strength, courage and wisdom. This empowerment comes from Pema Lingpa’s revealed treasure cycle.

Peling Ultimate Secret Long Life Empowerment
The empowerment for this secret form of the Long Life Deity, a Peling Terma, has been bestowed by Gangteng Tulku only three times in his lifetime, until this visit to the USA, where he will bestow it twice. We are blessed by this rare opportunity to taste the secret nectar of Long Life from Guru Rinpoche through his hidden terma, revealed by Pema Lingpa, and transmitted by his direct descendent, the Ninth Gangteng Tulku.
